Reed harvest on the shores of Lake Neuchâtel.
In Gletterens on the southern shore of Lake Neuchâtel stands a reconstructed pile-dwelling village. In this open-air museum you can learn a lot about the culture and life of the Neolithic people. In 2001 I accompanied craftsmen who cut reeds on the shores of Lake Neuchâtel to repair the roofs of the pile dwelling houses.
