I started this work during the first lockdown due to the corona virus in spring 2020. Then I discovered that many plants in my garden are eaten by snails, beetles or other insects. Normally we try to get rid of these pests with the help of insecticides or pesticides. I read that the pollution with poison is much higher in private gardens than in agriculture. This is one reason for the massive extinction of species worldwide. When I had a closer look at all the holes in the leaves, I discovered their beauty and started to collect the leaves, arranged them in the darkroom and made photograms on silver gelatine paper. Renounce the poison and marvel about the beauty and shape of the holes.

Work in progress.
